I was assigned My Free Mickey which was quite a blessing indeed. I did not have to look far into this generous library to find inspiring material to work with. Thank you MFM for being such a super ccM citizen!
* * * * * I hope you and yours are faring well during this turbulent time. That we can be here together is a resource for which I am infinitely grateful. I have not had much time or space for creativity these days. I am still working my day job, serving my community, and taking care of my household. I am happy to have this opportunity to make something. Being in creative process is as good for regulating the nervous system as certain prescriptive somatic techniques. Thank you for being a healing space through support and creativity. * * * * * * * * The lyrics/images for this work come from my esoteric practice, including a consultation with the Sage of the IChing Saturday 4/4/2020. I drew Hexagram 3: New Beginning, also known as Difficulty at the Beginning, Beginning, Sprouting/The World Tree. In a “modern” Toltec interpretation, this hexagram is known as Uprooting Fear. My question was, “what do I need to know?”. I look forward to listening to everyone’s offerings over the next days. Stay safe my friends.
