I`ve tried to keep the bpm to 100…not sure i succeeded.

Cultivating your friends in high places.

Collecting worthless favour`s for a rainy day

Celebrating the smallest of conquests.
Sometimes cruel and mostly secondhand.
Question marks behind your dark glass`s.
Riddles only you can understand.

Separated from all that you believed in.
You endure the cracks & scratches to the heart.
From a distance you watch your bridges burning
Getting through the day can almost be an art.

Compromising is part of your survival.
Wanting more is surely no disgrace.
God alone will be the judge and jury.
Sometimes even Angels fall from grace.

Independence is the grail you search for.
But the price you pay is sure to be extreme.
If you`re lucky sometimes the dice will roll for you
But little victories are few and far between.

But I wonder if the dance still lives within you.
Do you still hear the music in the night
Or has the innocence been crushed like last weeks paper
Like the pictures that you see in black and white
