Can you feel the breath of angels on your skin
As they fight for your attention as war begins
And common sense is put aside
As we commit our acts of sin
Each and everyone of us
A dancer turned victim

Can you feel the taste of victory in the air
Amongst the broken promises beyond repair
And will the peace begin to crack
Before the ink is dry upon the page
Too many have to sacrifice their lives
So honour can be saved

Born in the middle, the center, the crossroads,
you could go any which way:
north, south, east, west;
any way at all;
a choice, a dream, a boast, a threat;
now,
how could you fail to go some other way,
