Time moves on and nothing changes. We are all still prisoners of the unseeable virus. Some people are leaving the city to find a better place but noone really knows where that is

It’s easy to two step your way outta here if your concerned
Slap a bag together head out for the highway before your burned
Seek a greater space and sanctuary before they all have gone
Wear a little hermit clothes and plan to move your lineage along

Clear the shelves of all the tins that your wallet can afford
Don’t tell a soul where you are bound they might follow in their hoards
Keep the silence make sure noone knows your name
And pack a bag of all your history before it turns to flames

This is how we will survive to tell the tale of 2020 to the people who got by
The great , the good, the poor the weak who never understood
Just how their journey got them through to be the ones who saved the days
Who wore the masks and washed their hands to finally wash the hurt away

Editorial pick

A bleak pop rock manual for surviving 2020. Radioontheshelf’s lyrics are aptly biting and full of the terror and truth of our time. He brings part of Stefan Kartenberg’s instrumental into the mix. Take a listen, wear your mask, and wash your hands.
