I am alive
I exist
I am here

You call me Quere
You point and ridicule
I shake what my momma gave me
I change what my father made

I love me, I think, is that okay
I love my animals, they love me
I question the most basic love of family, friends
Well, you think different, you honor not all my choices

Oh why can’t I just be, me
the me I create
made up face with size 19 heels and sparkling dress
or size 19 loafers with lace bra and necktie

You leaped like a superman busting open doors the last 10 to 15 years.
Oh why can’t you do more.
Why, why, why,
oh wo as me, me, me
why, why, why.
