Another go at this traditional English song dating from the Napoleonic Wars, when men were literally press-ganged into the Royal Navy. The beat is 2/4. I also played guitars: a 12-string (with 8 strings on) tuned down to “dropped D”, and a six-string tuned to open G Minor. All parts were recorded in a single first take. Would have liked to push the voice harder but, hey, the neighbours! Will add all dry stems.
