Traditional Irish folk song. I haven’t played this song for about 10 years. I recorded this on cheap and ancient equipment in a single take without preparation (hoping I could remember the words). I’m not a whistle player and I’ve certainly never played whistle on this song before, but I noticed we had a whistle in the right key lying around and thought I’d give it a blow—I just busked along, improvising as I went. The tempo is approx. 100 bpm but I didn’t use a guide, so the timing is probably out.
