Listening closely to all of Ant. Survila’s songs, I was fascinated by “Take It All Back.”
The vocals are worthy of a song for a Spanish band. In my opinion, it’s an exquisite work, and what I’ve tried to do is create a version that enhances the idea of ​​the progressive apotheosis that, in my opinion, the song already has. I’m still wondering if I’ve overdone the epic incredulity I’ve tried to capture… But as a good friend and music producer often says, “I couldn’t help myself.” And I’m not ashamed to say that once the remix was finished, I went out onto the balcony of my apartment at 5 a.m., at night, by the sea, and with my headphones on, I felt a similar emotion to the one I felt when I heard Ant. Survila’s original song. Thanks to him, I’ve had a blast experimenting with different harmonic and rhythmic ideas like a kid. Once again it has been a pleasure to participate in an extremely creative event as always are the Secret Mixers, hoping to have lived up to expectations.
