I started with the idea of a Silent Hill tribute. In this song you hear a protagonist get plunged into the darkness twice, run out of ammo and… well…

…I started with “Harsh” by Wakeproject” and went from there. Harsh was an unused beat element and I prefer those.

My next addition was the field recording from SpinningMerkaba, slowed way down and the “beeps” were removed from it since they did not sound scary even slow… the field recording is over the whole track.

“A vibe” from MWIC” was added next. You can hear it broken up through most of the song.

The second to “last” thing was Speck’s bassline, which lasts from the start of the song till almost two minutes in.

Why I say “last” is because “last” was all of these Freesound samples. (one moment)
