Okay this is a fun trip into turntablism. This song was born as an accident when I was chopping up samples to scratch on “Rainy Daze” I accidentally left the end of the song in there and it was almost perfectly on beat in a hip hop way. So I started there.

The key sample is from Harry Pomar Hotel Ansley Orch Rainy Days

The main “chop” sample is a finished rap backing that only needs the bass and drums. But most people here are unfamiliar with that so I started to make an example from two unused CCmixter samples and then… well I added some scratching and here we are. As a rap track, it has room for two rounds of 16 bars between the sung vocal “Golden Rays.” With the scratching it’s just a fun track.

The unmodified loops are in the zip.

Contains two spoken word vocal samples from the 1929 film “ Coconauts” with Groucho Marx, public domain. As well as other public domain audio from other sources.

Original song is in the scale of B major.

Bass sample from Frompast0 has been pitch shifted, that’s the only reason why I included it, to make the song easier to remix. I didn’t see it necessary to include the drum bit since that’s only “vinyl” modified.
