Human effort.

If it isn’t apparent, I’m exporting my pellas at exact BPMs with exact bar levels of silence before the rapping starts. If you apply the BPM and “snap” to guidelines it’ll line up.

This is a set of lyrics to go with a Canubis feature that was just a bridge. The bridge was “Live By The Sword” and I built around the idea.

—————————

“Live By The Sword”
Didn’t come to negotiate, Let’s get that straight
My name is coruscate hottest flame that’s irate
Like Mexican dishes flavor on the plate
Sabroso, yes it’s not so up for debate

Live by the sword, that’s a poor reward
Do they ignore the score the when you’re totally gored
Your body buried where no one explores
Using my stores on your core nevermore

Whatever for? whoever swore to live for war?
Never warned, cleverly born, whichever form
Whichever course, mastering hate and remorse
Is a poor metaphor like the Jedis and the force

Divorced from the violence and the after effects
We turn humans to hashtags and burning wrecks
Then we sign checks with a lack of respect,
heck that projects on values we neglect
————
Mother Mary, comes to me
bearing nightmares and things I can’t unsee
They didn’t let it be, they didn’t seek peace
It leaves a crease, resentment meters deep

Consuming chores, spending spoons on empty floors
Severity, lost identity, Rumi’s doors
Is it true, necessary and is it kind
You do you, be wary and quick to hit rewind

And what you’ll find, is anger leave no vision
Exacerbated actions with poor precision
Poor decisions met with more derision
Losing friends like a car collision

Grudges need smudges, trudge them underfoot
Disgusting, turns to sludge can’t be overlooked
Can get overcooked, should use silence
Just look at the violence and don’t be nihilist
