This mix started with the intention of creating a Rainbow Bridge song for several animals that passed recently.

Thankfully, Silkwords had a pella available that fit the bill, with some creative editing a spoken poem about relationships between people is extended from people to their companions.

The talented SackJo22 is featured in this mix, however, CCMixter’s website would not let me find her piece “Love & Remember” listed here. This helped add another layer to this mix.

And from the get go I wanted to use Forkboy’s sound effects, having the thunder handy was nice. I didn’t want a sad song, but the storm added some somber to what otherwise would be an upbeat sounding song.

In a way it still is.

This is a grieving song, our rescue lost a bunny this week, a wild one last week and a friend’s rescue also lost their agility bunny this week.
