WEIRD WORKS THE BRIDGE - Movie (2022)

This is the score to an ecoperformance ethnofiction movie by Julie Dind & Rolf Gerstlauer - the work is a filmic para/pataphrasing of and on Chris Marker’s La Jetée (1962.

Own samples are used to mash up with remixed works by Anchor, The3amAssociation and Dysfunction_AL.

Uploaded are also two spoken word samples - in real-time - as they occur in the movie.

The film was accepted - and will have its premier - at the 2nd International Ecoperformance Film Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. Next to a screening at the Ciné Bijou in São Paulo, there will be a free online screening on a YouTube channel on Thursday April 28th starting at 7:30 pm (Brazil time).
