I can see it, but I don’t see it in the pella search.

it’s there. go to the pella browser. at the top, change the first pull down menu option from “featured” to “all”. then you’ll see it.

Firstly, thanks!

Second, now I’m confused. I want people to be able to use my work commercially and do WHATEVER with it… as long as they credit me. Is it in the right spot?

I thought it had to be this:
http://creativecommons.org/...

That’s the Pat Chilla one. I had thought there was only one on this site free for commercial use.

lol - I think you may have bumped into an artifact of the evolution of creative commons licensing and thus the licensing here at ccM. The sampling+ license has a pretty significant overlap with the attribution license, so if I recall an earlier posting by fourstones correctly, that was the reason it’s not used as a root (non-remix stem) license here anymore (remixes maybe yes, because they are bound by the most restrictive license of the used stems).

Also, if you go to the Creative Commons “ Choose a License” page, you’ll find that it now generates a CC-BY license if you say Yes and Yes to the first two questions.

Oh so wow… then I *CAN* use all those songs too ^^;;

I like remixing, I thought those weren’t for commercial use because the license didn’t mention it. Awesome. Now I can make more songs!

Thanks!
