I love your handle - but definitely NOT a VV (VanillaVoice)!

You may be able to reduce the impact of the hiss quite a bit by increasing the volume on your recording, because it sounds to me like you are well below normal recording volume. If you do that, the signal to noise ratio would become better. And that would make it much easier for remixers to reduce the hiss while leaving the good frequencies of your vocals intact.

I hope my previous comment about not a VV was not misunderstood: I like your voice and your songwriting very much!

hey spin, no, not at all. :-)

it’s just that i wasn’t singing like i normally would for a ballad, so i don’t really know how listenable this “style” is. haha.

seriously, you guys are really kind to this rookie here. thank you so much!

I wouldn’t worry so much about the style of your delivery here. The cadence and melodies are endearing and enchanting.

On another note, I make use of noise and artifacts in my work. This pell is already downloaded. ;-) Songs have a life of their own in coming together, so I can’t promise any timeline. However, I will certainly make use of this track. Thank you for sharing it.
