That last line made me laugh.

Yeah, the last line is hilarious! That’s the original. Of course, we’ll never know for sure who actually wrote it.

This song is often sung by children’s choirs and it’s usually far slower than I sang it here.

I think a choir teacher told me this… about 20 years ago… but it stuck with me… if you smile when you sing, the smile can be heard. 😄 So I still make sure to smile when I sing something happy like this.
