Great hypnotic electro/techno track!
Not for the average ccMixter reviewer really, but a nice dance mix.

I ended up being nicely suprised by this, nice crazy mood, few moments of humor. If anything I would have liked it to do a bit more, maybe have a greater element introduced on the second go round with the lyrics, I was waiting for it to go really really crazy but it didnt. Liked it though.

thank you for the kind words. I agree it lacks variety towards the end.

Given the good feedback, I might spend some more time on this one (something I rarely do).

Well I’ve just changed it a bit now. Changed some of the drums, and put some craziness in the final section.

I could still polish it a bit more though.

Ha— dont know why but I really enjoy this track. I think the build to the end is much better, guess I was looking for the musical equivalent of death by over consumption. Liked it before like it alot now and much better to my little ears.

Thanks!

Hope I’ll find a better solution for the middle section though…

I almost skipped this track because I didn’t immediately get the hook; but I’m very glad I stuck with it.

Similar to AT above, I was very nicely surprised. It has some very original elements that set it aside from a standard dance track - great production, great energy and just a fresh feel to it - particularly after the first quarter of a track it really comes into its own. Good, good work.

Thanks for giving this a longer listen then :) Just so I know, anything wrong with the intro in your opinion?

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the loud kick towards the middle. I have a big doubt about it. In fact, I’ve changed it many times but just couldn’t find anything nice after that build-up. I’ll have to change it again.

Anyway, thanks for the encouraging review!

Nope. I just like the segment that starts with the second iteration of the vocals when the bass really enters and the synth notes enter and build up to a kick-butt beat.

If it was me, I would start with the section at 1:35 because of its immediate hook, and use the intro section as a break later.
But then again, I’m the guy wishing I had come up with this one, so there you go. :)

I would like to write so amazing and detailed reviews as above, but my stumbling English stops me sometimes. But I want to say, that this track has a special quality, like a sort of experimental theatre or performance. Not easy to listen to, but very interesting though.

Well that’s already more detailed and specific than most reviews I write on this site! So thank you.
(I’m not always confident with my english as well)

I’ve noticed this is now among my most ‘successfull’ tracks on ccmixter, which I wouldn’t have thought when posting (other tracks have surprised me the other way). It’s great to get this many comments.
