Tools I Used

Cubase 6.5

Samples I Used

From 'Roots' we took a drum loop and percussion fx.
From 'Guess It Is Love (GEOS Mix)' we took also a drum loop and the synth part.
From 'Remixters Pack' we took the piano, the harpsichord and the strings.
From 'Synth 00-01' we took the synth.

Original Samples

We added a lot of herbs and spice, like additional drums and synth sequences as well as some pads.
PattsiPeng delivered the vocals without hearing the original stems.

We were hooked by the piano, which was made by colab and cutted and chopped by Vidian. Then we added the Harpsichord and Strings. We found some synthlines and pads of a strange "test-tune" called "Rampold" on our harddrives and merged them with the samples and loops we got from Vidian. As the track evolves PattsiPeng delivered the vocals - just with the lyrics by oldDog printed on sheet of paper.

The whole process was something like: listening, building, merging, moving, recording vocals (1st voice), merging, freezing, defreezing, recording vocals again (2nd voice), mastering, freezing, defreezing, tweaking, freezing, offline rendering... ;-)
