Process
The grilla grilla suburban jungle sample appears unaltered in the beginning, and appears at the end in a time-shifted, EQ enhanced version.
The vocal sample was chopped up from one continuous reading into the spaced samples here.
The goal was to use the field recordings as instrumental breaks.
Other Notes
Acclivity of the Freesound Project is the reader. He reported on that site that his reading was rejected by librivox as too dramatic. For me, the porridge of his reading is just right.
