All instruments parts are original, and I played/programmed/edited them all
Process
1- dowloaded Lies a cappella.
2- listened to it many times
3- started editing so the a cappella is really in sync with the beat
4- started strumming, picking, trying the piano/synth
Other Notes
This was the first time I started from lyrics with a melody, and in english. Usually I write my own lyrics (in french) after the song's structure is stable enough, or plug some lyrics on a nearly finished instrumental.
I was (and still am) desperate not to be able to contact Amelia. I hope she will reply one day... This song is a way to thank her warmly for the good moments I spent with her voice in my mp3 reader, alone & away from home.
