How’s this for cool: Audio Cookbook publishes one recipe for a sound design per day under CC. If enough of us think this is useful we can start the process to make them into an official sample pool.

OK, here’s the deal: The authors of that blog are looking to share the idea and methodology behind the sounds, but not the sounds themselves. So you can NOT use those sound as found on the site for any type of remix without getting permission from them.

Since we don’t have a whole lot of sound designers here it’s slightly less useful than I original thought.

In the future they plan to separate out a group of the sounds and re-publish them under the Attribution license.
