I like the electric piano at the start. The breakbeat and string combination is superb. Reminds me of hisboyelroy, what ever happened to that guy? Anyway you’ve done yourself proud! I think this is one of your best songs, even though it’s not a club song, I really like the combination.

Hey Thanks Raven… its strange really how sometimes the amount of time or effort you put into a track, sometimes doesn’t matter… That is, sometimes you over analyse your own stuff. I say this because i put this together in less than an hour - probably the fasted track written of my songs on the Mixter…. Appreciate your comments! :o)

You’re welcome. I don’t know if you’re like me. But sometimes if I take too long to compose something, I start playing with it until I break it and adding things that don’t add any real value. It sounds like it took you longer than an hour though. I’m even more impressed now!

Less than an hour? I’m not only impressed, I’m even a bit envious.

Thanks for the the remix scott! Good thing I read the description; when that bass kicked on, it sat me up a little straighter! Nice samples-usage, and stuff like that little bit of “1/4’ jack hum” left at the end keep things musical, but certainly well in theme :-)

Sometimes a piece can work when only given a few minutes playtime Sometimes not!
This is so good with all the various layers and textures working together so well that when it ended I was most upset!! Like finding the last couple of really nice sweets in the cupboard have gone and the shops are closed. So open the shop up please and stretch that liqourice a bit longer! |

.
I’ve got a stock of those sweet’s coming in this weekend (will stretch it out, for maximum flavour) - I thought about stretching it when I did it…
