I liked the title of this song, because I love cats, and two of mine have deformities. Slater, a tabby munchkin has a kinked, oversized tail, and unfortunately her brother Leo’s was too serious to save and he’s now a Manx- rather like a short haircut suits some blokes the docked tail look is sort of cool. This remix was inspired by the Glitter Band (let’s remember Paul Gadd was a perv, Gary Glitter a legend!) and the classic soft rock track Black Velvet by Alannah Myles, with a bit of Carter USM’s Glam Rock Cops (look them up on the bizarre offchance you actually like my singing!) thrown in to the melting pot along with some Kylie Minogue-esque horns.
