Our friends over at Free Music Archive are hosting a microSong contest that you might want to check out.

The idea is to create a 15 second song that will licensed under a Creative Commons Zero license so folks can use it in videos, remixes, and other multimedia projects.

The songs must be your own work and submitted as an MP3.

First prize wins a 3-D printer! Runners up get swag from Creative Commons and WFMU.

The contest runs through February 20, 2015.
