Hello ccmixters!
The last couple of days I thought what I might do, to give something back to all of you. Since I’m pretty bad at doing creative things I’ll start a “one song per day” mission at january first - based soley on ccmixter songs! I’m trying to pick a song from the previous day, but there will be certainly a few vacations, so I won’t get a perfect job done, but I’ll give my very best. ccmixter has become the primary source for music I listen every day and I want to say “thank you” this way. The songs will be featured on http://musik.klarmachen-zum... and hopefully I can create some new believers. :) Merry christmas to all of you, wherever on this planet you are! And once again: thank you for sharing your music! |

Hi Kara,
glad that you like the idea. I wish I could do something more creative, but my creativity is used up with hacking source code and being a good pirate. :) The campaign article is online now, including the first song: http://musik.klarmachen-zum... BTW: Just saw, that you entered ccmixter some days before the free! music! contest started. Till now I thaught that it was my effort, that your are hanging around here. :) |

Wow. Choosing a single song every day is harder than I’d imagined. Not, that there were to few tracks… :) I’m glad, that I do not have to ed pick. ;)

31 days - and every day another artist was featured. Well, artist 31 does have to wait till tomorrow… :)

Well, the experiment is over. For now. :)
After fixing some issues I had not found before I now proudly present my ccmixter selection 2011: http://musik.klarmachen-zum... I don’t know yet, if my plan to get more people to ccmixter has worked. The overview has been loaded about 6.000 times. Outgoing clicks to ccmixter: 900 - and there is the FreeMixter included… Incoming from ccmixter: A good 800. Think I have to find a way to present the Catch of the Day in a more sexy way. In total I collected more than 26 hours of findest music. Thanks for that! |
