I made some physical modeled sounds with it. Now i'm not the best in physical modeling, but IMO the synth is capable of getting quite near to real sounding sounds. While working on it i wanted to hear what my try out track sounded like with some vocals and i took by chance the vocals from it's the statin skank, to see where i had to change something in the chords and rearange things to fit eachother. But, to speak with Bob Ross, happy incidents occur, and it fitted right in. The lyrics are realy fun, and with the subject of a skank, it fits right into the rocksteady/ska like track i have made. So here is what i have made of it, some sounds could have been done better, but i wanted to stick to vital for the sounds only, so that is intentional. Watching some youtube video's about the Roland TB303 synth, I was beginning to notice while it is a very fine synthesizer, a lot of people are going very far in their devotion to such a thing. I found that it almost had a religious touch to it and that is why I decided to create a track around it. It is nothing serious like a dangerous cult, but i hope you can get the irony of this track. Even I have several 303 clones, so i am guilty as well. The real one is not realy affordable, somewhere around 5000 dollar. Not bad for a synth meant to be a bassguitar substitute in the days it came on the market but flopped. Later on it was embraced by the early house producers, but in that time the thing was already taken out of production, so when you want a vintage one you have got to pay for it. I think it is part of the cult like atmosphere around the synth. Anyway I used some AI vocals to set out the irony in the track and the rest are mainly 303 clones making 303 noises on a beat and melody. A raw hard trance track, 145 Bpm with a banging beat and Rave melody. Musikpirat's sample gave the track the right kind of rave alarming noise which completed the whole track. If you listen without it then the track is realy not like it is now. Many thanks to Musikpirat. Stems are a part of a separate upload of the instrumental without the AI vocals, so that, when you use a sample, you can be sure it is not AI generated. For the 6 303 parts i have used Phoscyon 2, a fine 303 clone. I added a spoken word section (find below) at the beginning—taking inspiration from Ben’s lyrics. I’m being a little obtuse with my language, but I’m sure you can decipher what I’m getting at with a little effort.

This project started back in November of 2025, only to be shelved—many times—out of frustration. What vexed me stemmed from the fact that I simply could not remember how to use many of my DAW’s features at any useful level.

So it took me a long while before i got to this. Through circomstances that time i was in i completely forgot, but others have used it, so it wasn't wasted time. I came up on this via another track which i saw where i remembered again i challenged Susan, so here is my take on it. I have tryed to keep it in chinese style a bit, and i have incorporated some of the singing bowls from 'not yet crossing' in the track as well, which immediately made that this track is set to A4=432Hz. I changed the pitch from all the other instruments to correctly harmonize. The I Ching is widely known so i'm not going to give a lecture on it, if people want to know more they can google for it and will find a hughe pile of information. It was an inspirational journey, to get to this. And many thanks to Susan!!! Enjoy!!! All the good and best harmony to whoever listens!!! Frank ps.
