To the squirrel It's the stash of acorns hidden away. To us poor humans it's the vanity of the diamonds. At least for the squirrel it's food. The piece starts with a duduk in C minor before Duane Eddy makes an appearance moving it into C major. The magical voice of Kara and her merry band of squirrels appear before making way for the boy who never grew up and who still lives in hope of finding his diamonds. With the grace of a well rosined bow a Tiger arrives to scratch the earth and the whole thing moves along before finishing with the roll of a battered zildjian.

I started of with Martijn’s bass on a looped beat and construced the bassline and then the skanks, searching for sounds i came up to Stefan’s Houseware Blues which had the nice harmonica and the humming and searching along i found Copperhead’s banjo. I replaced the beat by the much better beat of Neurowaxx and I wondered if there were trombone solo’s on ccmixter and found Solo’s to Use’s trombone solo, then i went over to Kara’s vocals and took snippets from two uploads, then i placed Speck’s scatting, Kara’s whistle and with Javo’s subtile guitar licks all was completed.
