je,je,je,je,je!
Strange it sounds indeed… but I think I could work something out with this idea… I think it works… |

that’s actually a huge relief, I can’t tell you how cool it is that a) you uploaded these fantastic a cappellas and b) that you have such an open mind about how they are being used — especially here ;)
if you want, just say the word and I’ll upload the instrumental |

.
ok, if it helps the instrumental is here

perfect… my favorite track from you so far. i like the vocal treatment, it just fits.
when my girlfriend comes over tonight, i’m gonna get smooth and play this. let’s hope she doesn’t notice that your guitar has a grounding issue. :) |
|
.
if she does notice, tell her it’s the digitech 2112, not the guitar, hopefully you can get the mood back ;)

well you shamed me into it: I removed all the buzzing before uploading the separate tracks.

please please please PLEAASSSSEEEE post an instrumental version of this…just like it is without the vocals. no offense at all intended, but i have an idea this would be extremely useable in several other formats…imagine Pat Chilla w/ some chilled lyrics over this…(hint hint HINT)

I’ve got to echo shockshadows statements regarding the instrumental…elements of it (guitar, bass, vibes) were absolutely incredible. I wish more of the vibes were heard though and less of the horns…or maybe an effect on the horns to soften them a bit.
I was on and off with the vocals…the vocal blending worked great but I wonder if the splicing could have been cleaner sounding…sometimes I could hear the cut sound of the vocal splice (which may have been intentional?)…how did you go about doing the vocal splicing? |

I like this - the instrumentation is great. To my ears the drums strike me as a tad too clean-sounding to fit with the other stuff, but that could just be me. Over all it’s great. Nice guitar work!
