This was really fun to hear. You really captured the tide going out and pulling the sand with it which is what inspired my original contribution.

(cool — turns out fishing for validation works!)

Well, I played lots of classical as a kid and went (and flunked out) of a "serious" music school where, as it happens, I landed in Harold Budd’s Baroque harmonization class. So I guess I’m not TOTALLY unfamiliar, just very unsure if I’m murdering the pieces or not. I’m definitely learning a lot about how it’s done.

Thanks again for uploading the MIDI files, Polymer, it’s a boon.

Wow you’re really branching out. This sounds way better than OK to me. I’d say it has a less classical feel than the original but still has that "intelligent" sound to it. I don’t know, listening to classical music always makes me feel smarter. Hard to explain. But I definitely feel something.

Nice and relaxing. It’s got a lot going on, but it all sits nicely together. Normally I like songs to be a bit longer, but this one is great as is.
