I don’t know why, but this really makes me think to Ennio Morricone. It could be the soundtrack of a film of “Jean-Pierre Melville. Maybe the sounds that you use, those strings which give a strange tension to the atmosphere and those percus beating the time with a metronomic coldness. It’s dark, it’s strange, like a dream or a film in black’n white. It’s perfect with the voice..Good work (of course), and very original..

One thing I always know before I open one of your mixes is that the sound production is going to be first rate. So to hear you producing stuff on your basic equipment on the road is a shock to the senses but in a nice way.
The emotional feel of the music in this mix far outways any technical issues and the overall feel of the piece is great. As I have said many times its the music that counts and here the music is counting in very high numbers! |

Wicked. Great track. I agree with dd, it has a dark cinematic quality to it.
It looks like the Audio Cook Book stuff isn’t showing under samples used on the main remix listing. On the file’s page it’s there. |
