I think anything that gets us more pellas and/or samples is encouraged (or should be). Also appreciated here is the English translation. As much as I may be attracted to them, I’m reluctant to use pellas if I don’t know what they’re saying (something you may want to pass along to the other Asian Saints).

Also - the proverb is ‘Idle hands are the devil’s workshop.’ An idle/empty mind would be bliss wouldn’t it? (the point of meditation?)

Well, now i know… In fact, i see empty being used instead of idle all the time, even on the internet (quora.com) … Its probably more common here in India to use empty than idle :-) ..

Yes, it should be idle! But i have an empty mind :-) (often) ..

Thanks for the advise, i’ll pass this on to our friends on Asian Saints Facebook group page … :-)

Apparently, if we all took an IQ test, i’d probably be in the lower range among the 6 of us at the moment, who are living across worlds/cities… And Geetanjali is a walking dictionary… She never pointed out if its “idle”… But i’ll ask her if she knows its not emtpy but idle… :-)

Actually I was more pointing out that it’s idle hands are the devil’s workshop, not minds.

The diversity of cultures is one of the most attractive things about ccMixter, but it does sometimes make communication tricky.

LOL About education, I’d take more than a lifetime to get educated, i just kinda come across things slowly, god sent usually.. Impossible in a single life..

“This is Speck” … And its “Idle Hands” and not “Empty minds” … Appreciate the fix Speck :-)
