(point of clarification re my youth I am in fact fairly ancient. I purchased my Squire Strat from Foxs music in Leeds 1987. Its still going strong, although a little rusty / dusty from being stuck in a cupboard for about 15 years. When I picked it up and started playing again it took me back to its roots)
