Some fantastic placement/playing/arrangement- my only nit to pick would be the time it takes for it all to settle into place. Maybe it’s just me, but it seemed to take a bit longer than necessary for the vox to sit in the pocket; other than that, what a tour de force!

i pretty much agree with what duckett said. great playing and really great idea conceptually. the ska parts work pretty nicely in a latinish no doubt sort of way. it’s not like anything sounds off, but i hear what duckett said about the pocket, it’s a complex mix with alot going on. plus, you’re competing with lasswell’s incredible mix of the same vox. but you’ve got a very unique idea here, and the playing is really good.

I think this was daring and really successful on many levels. There are a few bitty places where I think the instrumental melody and the vox are at odds but it gets wrapped back up quickly enough. I like it.

Love your playing and ideas in this. has alot of energy, great arrangment. Very enjoyable and I’m in awe of your playing and realisation of an idea.
