haha, I know that intro fiddle! I used it in a song I wrote for SongFight! about 5 years ago. efiddler rocks.

Nice twangy arrangement. I like the slide (dobro or pedal steel?).

yeah, efiddler’s standard country lick in E ‘:0) I’ve been holding on to these fiddle loops for a long time with no original compositions that require fiddle. This seemed a good opportunity to use ‘em.

unreal_dm says it’s “slide” without specifying. Doesn’t sound like a pedal. Was toying with the idea of asking ElRon to bring his lap steel over, but decided to KISS.

I played the slide on a 1980 Ibanez AS200 semi tuned to E through an acoustic simulator.

Checked out your song link, MCJIB. Very cool down on d’bayou music. Got that Doug Kershaw thing going on. efiddler does rock.

I’m a bluegrass lover, big time, so that fiddle opening has me entranced heart and soul, and I agree that this works better without a full kit for percussion. This might be one of my favourite listens in the last month or so!
