I was pleasantly surprised to see your uploaded version of “Oh My Antonia”…I thought you had given up on it! I am so used to hearing it with the cello that your version with other instruments actually make it seem like a more hopeful and less existential song! The whispering woman adds a haunting element too. Nice work and thanks…

You’re welcome. Every now and then I did some work on it, although most of it in the beginning. This was all I wanted to add to it without distracting too much from the original.

nice……..reminds me a bit of Roxy
Music in about 1973; with the mellotron and the oboe or english horn. Plus I could hear B. Ferry singing those lyrics of Anchor’s…in a similar style.

Always glad to see someone having a go with an AM pella and this one is a very nice take on it with all the elements working well together.

This is just lovely. So very lovely that it made me go visit Anchor’s original work to check it out. The words are phenomenal.

Wonderful!
