Great choices for mixing — makes me think of what it would sound like if Herbie Hancock collaborated with the Ninja Tune stable. Did you do some time-stretching on some of those vocal snippets? Cool mix!

Hello Speck,

Proud to be a part of this one.
You give the place for everyone in your
mix… Like Apoxode said, there’s a
taste of Ninja Tunes in it.
I think theses kinds of labels are one
of your favorites(Warp, Ninja Tunes ,
Jazzland, Dj Food, Dj Krush, Dj Shadow,
Dj Cam, the music of Skuli Sverisson, Kid Loco)

More I hear you, more i find a
good/original esthetic, a search in the
arrangements/sounds. I think there’s no
existent style like you, the way you are exploring sounds and doing music
Is yours and anyone else.

Good Morning Speck
I’m going to sleep, I have played for “Music celebration” tonight in France it’s the 21 of June, the first day of Summer.
I’m tired :-)

Thanks, Calyman. Would you believe the only one of those labels/people I’ve heard of is Dj Shadow? Spent some time last night exploring them though and right you are - I dig them all. I think I lost track of ‘the music scene’ way back when it all migrated from the record store to the computer. And radio became all pop or talk (and ads). I used to love taking my paycheck to the record store every week, taking my selections home and listening to them on my excellent but affordable (NAD) stereo system while doing nothing but listening to them. Now I’m supposed to use my phone for that? Can’t get into it. (With the occasional exception - I did find Amon Tobin.)
So thanks for that list. I’ll likely be using it for further exploration.

By the way - check out Airtonal if you’ve got a minute or three. It’s my current favorite (of my own mixes).
