This is fabulous, a real foot stomper. I love the way the groove sways and stumbles - I’m picturing a guy stumbling into, and then being thrown out of, a succession of sleazy bars…but that might say more about me!

This would have been a great soundtrack for my tremendous waste of time on YouTube last night …still I recommend the following search… ” dentist wisdom tooth aftermath”

What a totally amazing mix! Inspired use of the samples — you really managed to extract the best from them. The arrangement and total concept is brilliant — a fantastic take on a song that was initially thrown together in a couple of minutes. It’s like you identified all the key elements and took the whole thing to a new level.

Thanks. I think your lead guitar and copperhead’s bass are the only elements I left intact. Glad you like it. It’s always gratifying to know a remixee approves.

This is really cool - it careens between rough rock blues and slightly polished uptown blues. With a good dose of psychedelic organ from Garth Hudson, it sounds like. :)

Classy-glassy-cool blues with blurred vision. Stu Bailey on a bender - hammered and yet always he maintains his urbanity. I love your style, Speck.

as one who’s been known to stumble i can certify this as authentic blues. and if you don’t like it… . download and adjust the BPM to something that makes you wanna keep going ‘til payday.

This would have been great for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. You have stepped your game up considerably lately. Thanks for another incredible remix.

Quote: copperheadYou have stepped your game up considerably lately. I don’t know about that. I’ve just been selecting some really good samples and trying not to Speck ‘em up too much.

Maybe it’s that much more special when I am part of your remix because I know where the samples started. :)

Okay, so there was this guy I used to “jam” with in California… He taught me some basic blues riffs and would do crazy solos over it… I’d do some weird vocal stuff, whatever… ANYWAY, this made me think of that… (it probably sounded kinda like this… we were always trashed.) Thanks for the stroll… I should add- I like this a lot.

love this track — superlatives aside its wonky and solid simultaneously — I have to go to Vegas next week for a conference. I may just put this on repeat on my ipod and listen to nothing else. I think it will be fitting.
