Crazy!
I like it a lot.
Only one nit ,the instrument coming at around 01:03 (sax, accordion?) sounds midi.

thanks a lot wnm.
most of the song is MIDI actually.
I think people are more accustomed to MIDI drums, bass, synth, and piano though.
What you’re referring to is CSoul’s melodica I believe, and I gather he uses a lot MIDI. Pretty sure colab uses some sort of VST too. So, the only real instruments are the vocals, and perhaps the tabla and accordian.

We all use midi controllers and vst, of course.
I meant that the instrument I mentioned doesn’t sound realistic.
I didn’t want to offend anyone.

oh, no offense taken at all. appreciate the const. crit. actually. it’s just, i was surprised you mentioned that instrument. the drums stand out to me more as sounding MIDI.

I’m always thankful to whoever invents MIDI.It is very helpful and it is removing limits to imagine and create. The melodica in it is a sample.I took it from a my friend and really , i don’t know that is MIDI or not but i love it.

yes, MIDI is a very useful tool. i agree with what wnm stated though, except for the whole song. it has a sort of quality or texture that the ear isn’t quite so fond of. i liked how all the parts fit together in this piece though.

Your (or your friend’s) melodica sample prompted me to order one for myself. Should be here any day now. Always loved the sound. Well, since I first heard Augustus Pablo anyway.

What an excellent surprise. I haven’t been around here for a while, and this is a terrific first listen.

Love the hectic pace that builds up around the midpoint. Lovely blend of elements - it borders on but never crosses into chaos.
