I had the same challenge: was I invading something too personal here? Here at CCMixter, we’re really putting ourselves out there sometimes; nobody moreso than snowflake did with this song.

I think the most generous thing we can do is respond to each other, and what is more personal than the human voice? You’ve answered with yours in the highest way a person can: if anyone asks you to go one mile with them, go also the second mile.

No thank you, Em.
Ab did a terrific job and all I did was add another layer over your raw emotion. My thoughts to you and your family each time as I learnt they song. Thank you

Wunderful song. And due to its appearance, I started listening to various other remixes of the vocals.

Thanks for sharing this song, snowflake. And scomber, thanks for remixing it.

Cheers C, its a good example where an original pella chocked full of emotion can be interpreted in so many ways. Thanks for listening !

great job, Scomber. hearing snowflake sing this song makes me tear up every time. your choice of samples and adding your voice adds another layer of caring & empathy to
one of Emily’s very best.

Thanks P. Often hard seperating empathy with a strange kinda voyeurism. Cheers

Agree with Panu, Scombs. A new approach to this fine and moving song. I must admit I’m listening to new uploads while doing some stuff in the house. This one made me stop, sit down and listen.

Even if you haven’t actually ‘met’ Emily, this is an act of true friendship and it’s beautifully done, Scombers. xxxx

You’re getting better as you go Scomber. I’m liking your output more and more these days.

I’ll admin I’m a big fan of the male and female vocals in a track. That with the fact this has a great melody and that guitar work is top notch.

Anyway, nice work

This is definitely one of my favorite tracks from you. It is just so sensitively and beautifully done. I’m honored to be a part of it! (And I thought I had left a review earlier because Snowflake and I talked about it yesterday, both of us agreeing it is just wonderful!)

finally had time to review -
suffice to say - an excellent remix…and a truly sensitive and beautiful song adaptation. Among my faves of your stellar offerings.
