Fantastic! I imagine you, like Hoagy Carmichael, sitting at the piano singing this in some exotic bar (in black and white of course).

Wish I had a tiny fraction of your inventiveness with words!

Agree with Ross, this is just fantastic. I might be repeating myself now but I just have to say once more that your singing, (especially on this song) is very very inspired and lovely.

Thanks Per, got myself a vocal coach. Quite intimidating at times but lots of fun unlearning things and not slouching. Helps that she wears your “red lipstick & prada sunnies” and is quite easy on the eye lol

Scombers, this is wonderful. Your fans are just going to swoon - I know I am. oldDog obviously hasn’t realised I take priority with the thumb, since I’m Chairwoman of your club and all that, and he’s gone ahead and recommended you. I do to …. in my heart. xx

Ah! A surfer in a tuxedo. What more is there to live for!:O)

I almost had to reach for a hanky on this one!

Great interpretation of the music and a fine way with the lyrics.

truly wonderful offering from the wizard of OZ. i could imagine you doing this in the piano bar at the 1st ccM convention, with your bushy, bushy blond hairdo & huarache sandles, too.

Scomb-
this may be one of my faves of your recent offerings. Suits your voice well too…its honest and tender too.
I’d like to sing it myself. Great ending too.

You old crooner you! :-)

You see, when singing so lovely about romantic love things, this is worth an ed pick.
So congratulations for both!

Old Dogs backing track is magical, but your added vocals is the icing on the cake. Sweet!!!

If Ray Charles and Van Morrison ever had a love child (theoretically), it would be you. Old Dog’s gorgeous, smoky backing track and your vocals blend together to make a jazz cocktail that goes down nice and easy.
