I very much like John’s vocals and the backing music is just great, but every now and then they do not seem to fit together very well. I am still going to throw in one of these , because the backing music alone deserves it and because I do not want to run the risk that you won’t save me when The Netherlands are flooded with the molten (I had to look that one up) ice from Greenland.

Thanks for the translation of John’s lyrics, otherwise I would have thought that it was all about fantasy…

The key issues were really beer issues. Thanks Sub. I’ll send over a Mal for the rest of your family.
Cheers mate

By crikey, a day in the life of the Dalai Lama and a day in the life of Mr Scomber are nearby identical! Who’d have thought? I don’t think I’d believe that ‘I’m secretly a prince’ chat-up line but I’d have a drink with you as long as you weren’t wearing one of those shirts with baggy short sleeves. Can’t stand them. Great stuff, as ever. xxx

No baggy short sleeves on these shoulders Miss Cig. Thanks for the review and encouragement. The bar is now open. I’ll be the one in the corner booth with a red carnation in my left lapel.

Great reworking of the vocal. That must have taken some time!

I think the qwirkyness between the vox and the backing track adds to the overall feel of the piece and I’m saying this without any alcholic attention!

seems like everything over here’s in 7/4 so the meter’s fine with moi, but i’d like to see the italic lines incorporated, filtered through a bar nap.
