A melancholy piano with a melancholy siren song; seems like a fit. I think that this piece would work well in (or as) a short film.

My crow children tell me they love this because it has a kind of mysterious, splintered beauty that enhances the strange tale of my metamorphosis into their Queen. I agree with them. Thank you, R. xxxx

It was a pleasure to accompany the Queen’s voice with a mysterious background. Thank you!

Lovely! Melancholic and mystic. I get this picture of Ciggi sitting in a huge forest by a small lake at dusk silently singing this tune.

Ahh now. This is just hauntingly beautiful - for the most part.

There are a couple of spots though where Ciggi’s harmonies collide with the piano.

But I’m a sucker for these sorts of tracks - finding two things that sound like they should always have been together. Good ear.

Yes, I’m also not fully satisfied with the harmonies at some spots. Tried some pitch shifting here and there but it didn’t really became better. But over all it is astonishing how much these two tracks fit, I just cut the pella and did some side movement! The athmosphere was too engaging to not upload it.

Sounds like something that might be taking place in the activities room at one of those corrupt women’s asylums in a late ’40s movie. Which is to say - I like it.

At first rocavaco’s remix sounded weird to me. But then i read your review and i understood the soundscape that rocavaco created. The feeling of rocavaco’s soundscape is really something new to me. It also made me see the whole piano piece in a completely different way.

Many many thanks rocavaco.

Digging samples to create something new (music and athmosphere) is the most satisfying task here at ccMixter and it is the reason why I invest my whole free time here (which is always much too short…).

I’m happy that you like it. Thanks for uploading!

This a capella, was created for one of my composition, but you knew the adapted brilliantly. Excellent atmophere. It is true that the Queen of crows has a wonderful voice ….

I heard your crow track some times and it is completely different - but I love to make completely different things out of the same stems. And most often I’m astonished myself what can be done with even a few changes (at least the Queen is nearly unchanged).
