Love those piano parts. Have to see if I can put them in something!

I hope you do! :) At first I wanted to feature some lead guitar parts. In the end I opted to keep things relatively clean. Hopefully that’ll make it easier for others to add to the conversation.

The piano is just gorgeous Ivan — soulful, emotional, just so very pretty. I think you hit some notes that penetrate. Bravo!

A lush, rolling, expansive patch of heaven. Nicely done. (And oh goody - stems.)

Quote: Speck(And oh goody - stems.)LOL. Please, by all means. I’d love to hear a ‘Speck’ for the stems. Or chaotitronica for that matter! :)

beau-coup kudos for your individualistic approach to this simple pop-rock ballad. your chopping on the vocal & unexpectedly accomplished piano playing take it to a whole new place. i think the sound quality on this ranks with your best work. many appreciations my Singaporean friend.

By “individualistic”, what I had in my mind’s eye was you doing a one-man singing and playing on the piano. As I commented above, I was merely teasing out what was already present in your work of art.

great piano Ivan, gives the song a “story unfolding” feel (if that makes any sense) … fits Panus vocal very well

Yes, I think I know what you mean. My own interpretation of “unfolding story” is (1) a younger version of the couple and then contrasting to the same couple when they are much older; the words are the same but the context would be slightly different. And also (2) where the same story happens in different cultures/ countries, with the same younger people. Thanks for this great idea! I don’t care if I’ve misunderstood you but you’ve given me a nice tangential perspective! :)
