Great song and you have done it justice.

One small point I felt the hard panning to the right of the string section a little false. I would have double tracked it and EQ’d each track differently to bring out the effect more.

But hey each to his own!!

Still a very nice mix.

This is very nice. Knowing the inherently sad mood of the song, it is interesting to appreciate it in an arrangement that first set you in a different mood… and all the suddeen the drama of the strings.

You never fail to surprise…
I was all thinking “kid’s christmas” feeling at first, and then string-time! You seem to have a great grasp on making sudden left turns become “right” ones ;)
