Ofcourse i agree about the sounds of destinazione altrove.
And really i knew what you said.
You said.”So we didn’t realize that the dreams of some”unfortunately !!!
I thought , this must be a rock .The rock created this age. This is an appeal and resist as just rock.I totally join your resist.
All this disappointments did not prevent me and i still belive this dream. This is not only just a dream. The earth has same believers as always, why?
Ofcourse We or some generation will do it.We will provide, this belief. This was a bit long, but your lyrics excited me.
peace my friend

Thank you for all of your thoughts, CSoul. I consider myself a dreamer and hope to always have a dreamy optimism… but I just got to thinking… We need so much more than dreams! I agree- we will one day. :) Thanks for listening and understanding me.

Great collage of words and music, the spoken works perfectly fitting the dynamics of the music. Lyrically, reminds me of When You Gonna Wake Up by Bob Dylan.

Wow! First song I’ve heard about Pres. James Polk and the events leading up to the Mexican American War. Deep stuff, MMT.

Thanks for listening, tex. I love how songs can be interpreted in so many ways… Of course, my original intention was much more current… ;)

hmmmmm … more current. A song about U.S. Grant’s patronage scandals or FDR’s internment camps … got it. Still pretty deep, Kara ‘:0)

Totally unique in approach, subject & concept. Words go so well with the music, painting a picture ful of cinematic widescreen associations. Love it!

Thank you, timberman! The music very much inspired the words and pace of the way I spoke them… I’m glad they were able to mesh in reality as well as my brain. :)

Expected something like that. Simply beautiful, words & music.

Special thanks for posting the lyrics so often! Really helpful to understand everything right…

Oh no! Am I getting that predictable? ;) I’ve always poured over the lyrics in album liners, so I try to make a point of posting them. Thanks for noticing. And thanks for your kind words!

Aint it the truth. Let’s start the revolution simply by saying plutocracy from now on, which it is, instead of democracy, which it probably never was. At least let them know we’re not that stupid.

Love it. I always cringe when I read or hear about the U.S. ‘bringing democracy’ to other countries. Makes me sick. Plutocracy it is!

Maybe we got too good at dreaming. . .

A very poetic commentary on the complacency of our society well set against some Sad Clowns. Irony persists.

HA! Thanks for pointing out the irony. How did I miss that? And thanks for listening.

I am very pleased that you have wanted to use my “composition” to match it to a text so profound in the name of democracy. I am also a tireless dreamer. Thanks for the kind words for my instrumental, but here your intellectual and artistic work is undoubtedly a great job. thanks again :D

Thank you for your kind review. Your piece really was the inspiration for this- so thank you again. I am thrilled to know that you, too, are a dreamer and support these words. :)
