I like the soundscape but I am wondering if the vocals might be treated better if the rhythmic element was eliminated with stretched out vocals, echoes, and warped pitches to match up with the soundscape feeling of chopping a way through a thick jungle with sounds that can’t be isolated to a specific direction but could be coming from anywhere.

Does that make sense?

That makes a lot of sense. I did not experiment as much with the vocal as I might have, and your idea is a better one than my treatment of it here.

I don’t know that it’s a better idea…the track kinda left me wanting to hear it that way as well…I was thinking about it though and your mix makes sense if Truski’s vocal is meant to be the ‘clear path’ through the jungle so to speak. I think it works both ways really.

it’s creepy soundscape, and then it’s truski… a less imagined mix, yet very thought provoking.
gurd blows another mind.

This mix shouldn’t work but Gurdonark pulls it together. I think this track is amazing.

The build ups(like at 2:00) are pretty powerful. Awesome sounds.: )

Just trippity hoppity enough for amphibians recalling and revealing their deeep insect past. And it’s still “still music”…So gorgeous I want to turn down the vocal sample every now and agin. Thanks for the mixture
