the mix is pretty uneven. the guitar/scat stuff isn’t bad, and on it’s own might actually sound pretty good mixed right, but brad’s vocal track is completely buried in the mix, which is a real distraction.

i don’t know… i really like this for some reason… it sounds like some guys kidnapped bobby mcferrin and brought him to the basement and told him NO BEER AND PIZZA unless he helped out on a song, and he’s pounding it out, but maybe his mouth is a little dry because not only doesn’t he have a beer yet but he has to watch the guitarist suck jack daniels out of an old tire with a crazy straw, and he doesn’t know who these guys are anyway, but right about the time it looks like things are winding down there’s a comeback at 2:00 minutes in, and for 30 seconds everyone forgets that they’re just some guys in a basement with a guitar and bobby mcferrin and an old tire full of liquor…

the idea is good, so good… but i think that Brad vocal’s are just lose something beetwen the freqs. of the rest of the song… or something like this (i’m no so good on this things…)
