This remix was walking safely to the 1:38 min. After 1:38 this was really flight. I am going to listen Jefferson Airplane (sure Grace Slick)

Thanks! Glad you liked it- “please make sure your safety belts are buckled, and your dining tray is in the upright and locked position” ;-)

Love distortion and chaos, and kristin voice is perfect for that. Your remix keeps a lot of rage in it. that intro distorted bass is my description for the rage feel. Powerful.

Thanks- I know a lot of people have done some creative things with contrasting her vocals with cleaner, mellower, or prettier backing tracks, but I definitely felt compelled to go with “loud, raw, and relentless”…

The Jefferson Airplane analogy is a good one.

This is what I call an irritating mix!

You have to scatch it and then it sure does feel good!!

Thanks RT- I suppose it’s a drying, scaly scab of a remix, but even if it bleeds a little afterwards, pick it you must ;-)
(I can almost hear the chorus of “Ewwwww!”)

I dont polish you so much mate:)
idea are great,instruments are great.
i have problems with the drumms cause i just waiting and waiting for the bumm, and it doesnt came..
if you gave after the change some livedrumms whitch kick ass,you still ve got place to make the synths to wind up, amplify.
but congratz great job!

No, I don’t mind- just am not quite sure what you’re alluding to;
are you trying to say you found the drumloop a bit repetitive…?
Basically, what I’m getting from your review is, that while you liked the overall idea, you feel it falls short in some respects. I always respect an honest opinion- I’d never grow artistically, if everyone just told me I was wonderful all the time ;-)

cheers.
what i am saying is
you should change the drumms in the second part as adding more drumms, and there is possibility for wind up the synths on the end.nothing change on the drumms on a whole track but drumms are same important instrument as others.every instrument what we using for our emotions in the music give us a fulltone picture.
finally this things allways depends on the music style what we choosing for the track.most of the mistake what i calling for *Stylestranger* fault when peoples try to connect instruments whitch doesnt matches at all.
but not in this track:)
btw we can learn usually each other in stronger review. i think is much useful than this *wow fantastic and stuffs* kinda review:D

I understand what you mean, thanks for clarifying. BTW only the drums are electronic- the other parts are older loops of myself playing guitar and bass (sadly, I had to sell both a while ago). Happy listening/remixing!

This evoked images of pleasantly melancholy love in a sci-fi setting. (Images that I have clumsily tried to express via video.) It is aching yet hopeful, yearning yet comforted. Everything is arranged in such a way that these “opposing” points merge seamlessly into a single experience, much as they do in real life. Kristin Hersh notably said music is about making a connection, about emotion and meaning not easily confined into letters. You’ve done her justice.

Killing. This is great. It’s accurate my personal style. Dark and dirty. Well done Mr. Duckett
