This is a great first upload, very impressed. There is a very nice orchestra melody in the background I can barely hear that I think would sound terrific if it was given a little more volume. I enjoy the main beat as well as what you did with the song during the chorus parts. Can’t wait to hear more.

Thanks for your comments. I have allready try to push up the background synthĂ© but it’s take too much place on the song, I think it’s a problem of my sound card … or perhaps just the limit of FL studio …

oh yea! great first upload — don’t worry, you’ve done nothing wrong ;)

I love this mix — the break down came just in time ;)

fwiw, it’s very hard to believe FL studio has a mixing limitation like what you’re describing, their mixer is very clean and they don’t do any +/- to the input signal whatsoever (that’s from the guys that wrote the software).

Thanks,
So it’s my computer’s sound card or just a problem with me because I allways have the same problem with FL the more I put samples the more My Kiks get lower on my mix. I think I should work with a lower general sound level and do the mix on the definitive version allready compressed on WAVE. Help is welcome !!??

Nice track. I’m really feeling the strings and bass. I like the way you did the drop for the break on the end. That hook is also very hot. A very good job. Looking forward to hearing more.

I’m not 100% what you mean by that last part but YES start with a lower overal mix and turn your speakers/headphones up, not the other way around.

Also it sounds like you have compression on the final mix output, that’s ok but you kind of have to know what you’re doing to pull that one off. Get used to things without the compressor on the overall mix and then add it back in …

make sense?

Sory I made a bad manipulation *lol*

I think I get what you meant, I had to work on each instrument first, extract it and do the same for each part of the song. Then I put all instruments "pre mixed" on a new file and mix them for the complete version.
