I was lucky to hear the first version, avec Ani, this is beautiful- Barbarella should sing some more. I think I have a microphone here that will be better for her- very expensive a FET mic- I cannot use it, I am too loud. I will bring it to you in France.

Great stuff! I’d be tempted to remix the vox myself, but (A)I doubt I could improve on this, and (B)I’ve got enough to do with various repair-work on previous uploads ;-)

Kaertrouz and i, are certainly going to work on a french “rap”, called “Slow d’ete”, always writen by Ani Casals. More words, less melody, but of course again a sad “Love story”. Maybe that this time you will be inspired. |

When i first heard the guitar, it reminded me of that song by Extreme ” More Than Words”. This is a very beautiful song. Great production and awesome mix.

Very nice. Everything hangs together very well. I didn’t listen to this before I remixed the vocal and it’s quite a different direction than I took. Part of what I love about ccMixter is the wide variety of interpretations and transformations the samples and vocals find. The editorial pick is well-deserved. Great work!

Great Mix. Sounds fresh and very european. Top Marks … Wasa fan of the drum’s from second 1, and the accoustics with Barbarella’s great tones fit like a glove.

Well i can’t say anymore than what has been said musically so just leave you with an idea for the guitar.
You have it sitting right behind the lead vocal and they compete for the space a bit. So a pan with an opposing delay, or phase reversal would open the sound up and add some additional clarity to her vocal. Just a thought. Really nice tune…LS |

Thanks for your comment. In fact, this song was a first time for me. It’s a composition and i couldn’t have the same approach as for a remix. It’s a different feeling, when you work with your own material than this of another member. But, the most important for me was to introduce you Barbarella.
