great sounding groove and the repeating melodies keep giving it a ort of meditative feel. (I have no clue if thats the way to put it in english, but i hope you´ll get what i mean). Just to be sure i really enjoyed this one.

I like the track but for the distortion on melissa`s spoken piece it is quite distracting.

Well, I am still glad you enjoyed the track. As for the distortion, everybody has different listening tastes. Nonetheless, I appreciate you taking the time to listen and write about it. Thank you. |

personally I don’t think the distortion itself is the distraction, it seems to be very carefully texturally placed with the other sounds in a around it’s frequency. The arrangment in general is pretty flawless. (And you can expect that beat to be sampled elsewhere here on the site…)
I was however taken completely out of the overall mood of the track at several places where the vocals’ level were just out of balance with the everything else. I suspect if the mix was a little tighter the distortion would make more sense to the other reviewers. You’re obviously welcome to counter with a ‘I meant to do that’ but you are losing emotional impact of what is otherwise a fantanstic track. Hope to hear to more from ya..! |

I appreciate your feedback greatly. In truth, I was struggling with the mastering of the voice to everything else. The distortion is merely a light topical covering. However, there are places that I just couldn’t get her words to be heard enough or it would be too loud. So I did fumble in that area. I will work on remastering her voice tonight. Thank you again! |
